About the Founder | Sukyoung CHUNG
Sukyoung CHUNG, the founder of STM, brings over two decades of expertise in business development and marketing within Korea’s wine and food industry. From 2000 to 2019, she played a pivotal role at Sopexa Korea, leading the agency as Managing Director from 2010. Over the years, she cultivated a deep understanding of wine and gastronomy, built an extensive network of industry professionals, and earned a reputation for her unwavering commitment to excellence.
Motivated by a passion for meaningful engagement in the world of food and wine, she founded Seoul Taste Marketing (STM) to share her insight and experience with global partners. STM was born from a vision: to help international clients enter and navigate the Korean market with confidence, clarity, and cultural intelligence.
Under Sukyoung’s leadership, STM offers end-to-end marketing and business solutions tailored to the unique landscape of Korea’s wine and food scene. From market entry strategy to local partner identification, from brand storytelling to cultural alignment, STM empowers clients to build authentic and sustainable relationships—with experts, providers, specialists, and ultimately, with Korean consumers.
